Hooked-Up

We stayed at Hooked-Up, a property directly on the inshore water side of the island. The property had a beautiful dock where my husband could fish every day. A happy husband makes for a happy vacation. We rented a golf cart on the island which our two kids enjoyed immensely. They went to meet other kids at the outdoor basketball court next to the lighthouse on the island. The property is about 1 minute by golf cart and 4-5 minutes by foot to the nearest Gulf Coast beach access. Everything you need for your vacation is at the house, the kitchen is fully equipped with coffee maker, Keurig, toaster, blender, cooking gear, etc. It is a very clean house with a nice interior and a beautiful porch. Other than the beach, there is not much to do on the island which makes for a very relaxing vacation. Eating out is limited (not very many restaurants) and expensive. There is a small Piggly Wiggly on the island and a bigger one in Apalachicola. We enjoyed our stay.
