Castaway Cottage/ NORTH CAPE

Charming beach side cottage with gulf views from the front porch and less than 50 steps to the beach.
This cozy cottage features two bedrooms and one bath, which is best suited for a single person, couple
or small family. Recent updates include a fresh new interior and furnishings, updated cabinets, flooring,
appliances and a new bathroom with a larger shower. Grilling out is convenient with a door off the
kitchen leading to a smaller deck with gas grill. Amenities include wireless high-speed internet,
washer/dryer, phone, microwave, dishwasher and outside shower. There are smart TVs in the living
room and master bedroom for guests to log into their own streaming services. We do not offer cable
TV.
This home comes with everything you should need! All bed and bath linens are supplied as well as all
cookware/dinnerware/glassware in the kitchen. You need to bring beach towels, as the home will only
have bath towels. We also provide an initial supply of toilet paper, garbage bags, laundry, dish and bath
soap. Two Tommy Bahama beach chairs included.
You must be 25 years or older to rent. Strict policy of no pets, no smoking, maximum of 4 occupants
and no events. A violation of this policy will result in the loss of your deposit and/or early rental release
with no refund.

"Our first time to the island and could not have picked a better place to stay. The location was great. There’s a gift shop, market and ice cream shop within walking distance. The beach wasn’t crowded. Very quiet area. We were able to book on Friday and checked in Saturday! Host responded quickly. Highly recommend.

"My two daughters and I had a wonderful few days staying at the very cute and cosey Castaway Cottage for spring break. The interior is newly renovated and decorated beautifully. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped, the beds were comfy and the deck had comfortable seating to watch the beautiful sunsets. Steps from the beach, and a short walk to ice cream and the Trading Post for groceries, we couldn't have asked for a better location. I would highly recommend staying here.

"Castaway Cottage was perfect for my husband and I. Although there are quite a few homes that surround this one, for the most part, it was very peaceful. A quick walk down to the beach is very convenient. The weather and gorgeous water made for a perfect vacation. We have been coming to Mexico Beach for 13 years with this being our first at CSB. We will definitely be back.

"Castaway Cottage was a great place for our family vacation! We loved the close walk to the beach and quick walk to the store, donuts and ice cream. Great space for the kids to have their alone time, bathroom was nice, new and clean and hot water was plentiful for showers! We will consider this place for our future vacations!! Thank you

"We had a great vacation at Castaway Cottage! The cottage is very close to the beach and also close to some local shops which was convenient. The view of the ocean was beautiful. The house itself is very cute, but it is small. We have two young kids, and it was almost too small but was fine for a short stay. It’s also not very private because it’s surrounded by houses, but even with loud neighbors, we couldn’t hear anything when we were inside the house. Overall we loved our stay!
